The National Institutional Ranking Framework released the NIRF rankings for the year 2025 on September 4, on the official website, nirfindia.org. In the overall category, 17 Indian Institue of Technology (s) have made it to the list of top IIT colleges; IIT Roorkee moved up to 7th position, and IIT Indore moved up 6 places from 33rd to 27th position this year. To pursue B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering at Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent is mandatory.
