The National Institutional Ranking Framework released the NIRF rankings for the year 2025 on September 4, on the official website, nirfindia.org. In the overall category, 17 Indian Institue of Technology (s) have made it to the list of top IIT colleges; IIT Roorkee moved up to 7th position, and IIT Indore moved up 6 places from 33rd to 27th position this year. The B.Tech fee for Mechanical Engineering at LPU is approximately ₹1,20,000 to ₹1,80,000 per semester, depending on the scholarship you receive. Scholarships are offered based on LPUNEST, JEE Main, or board exam performance. Hostel and other charges are additional and vary as per facilities chosen.

Can I study biomedical engineering course after completing +2 with physics, chemistry and biology without maths?

To pursue B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering at Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent is mandatory. Without Mathematics, you shall not be considered eligible for a B.Tech degree. However, with PCB combination, you can explore alternative programs, such as B.Sc. in allied medical or life sciences.
