The NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2025 registration will start from September 4, 2025. It will be followed by choice filling, allotment result and physical joining at the assigned college.
NEET UG Round 2 Counselling

The NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2025 registration will be open from September 4 to 9, 2025. The dates for Round 2 counselling have been revised by the MCC due to the extension of Round 1 counselling. The Round II choice filling will be open from September 5 to 9, 2025. The MCC NEET Counselling Process 2025 is conducted to offer admission in 15% of AIQ seats. Candidates who registered for the NEET Counselling round 1 but were not allotted any seat can participate in Round 2 directly without fresh registration.

Students who did not participate in Round 1 Counselling need to freshly register and pay the full fee to participate in Round 2. Aspirants who were allotted a seat in NEET UG round 1 counselling but want to upgrade can also participate in NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Counselling by filling out new choices and locking them. How to Register for NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2025

The steps to register for NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 are mentioned here:

  • Step 1: Registered students must visit the official website of MCC

  • Step 2: Click on the option “Round 2 Counselling Registration”

  • Step 3: Students have to enter personal information, educational qualifications, NEET score, and rank, etc.

  • Step 4: Upload all the documents in the prescribed format and size

  • Step 5: Once the details have been filled out, students must click on the submit button

  • Step 6: Applicants have to pay the NEET 2025 Round 2 registration fee in online mode

  • Step 7: Check the details and click on the option “Save and Submit” for final submission

Choice Filling for NEET Round 2 Counselling 2025

After the registration process has ended, the next step is the NEET 2025 Choice Filling process. The step-wise process for NEET Counselling Round 2 choice filling has been described below.

  • Visit the official website of MCC and log in to the account generated at the beginning of the counselling process

  • After signing in, students are required to select three choices of colleges and courses for admission in order of preference, from the listed options in the dropdown menu.

  • The choice filling process is conducted based on the students’ NEEET score and the seat matrix of the participating colleges.

  • To confirm the entered choices, students must lock them by clicking on the submit button. When students forget to lock their choices manually, they will be automatically locked as soon as they click on the submit button.

  • Students must note that no further edits will be entertained after this under any circumstances.

NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025

The NEET 2025 Seat Allotment is conducted after the choice filling/locking window has ended. This is the last stage of the NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2025 before the final admission to allocated colleges. The choice filling will be considered before releasing the seat allotment process.   • The seat allotment is released separately for each round of counselling.

  • The results for every round are published based on the seat matrix of the participating colleges.

  • Students can either accept their allotted seats in NEET 2025 Round 2 Counselling or participate in the next round of counselling again.

  • To confirm the allocated seats, students will have to pay the admission fee as per the college guidelines.

What After NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2025 Ends?

Soon after the NEET UG Counselling Round 2 has concluded, students need to report to the allotted institute before the deadline ends. In case of any vacant seats, Round 3 and stray vacancy rounds will be conducted. The MCC counselling process will be held for 15% of all India seats. The remaining 85% of state quota seats will be filled through the counselling conducted by the state authorities.
