Dear Student,

To pursue B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering at Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent is mandatory. Without Mathematics, you shall not be considered eligible for a B.Tech degree. However, with PCB combination, you can explore alternative programs, such as B.Sc. in allied medical or life sciences. Dear Student,

With 80 percentile in JEE Mains, the chances of securing admission in the top IITs/ NITs are sleek, but there are many mid-ranked or lower-ranked NIT colleges accepting 80 percentile in JEE Mains, such as NIT Raipur, NIT Agartala, NIT Durgapur. Private engineering colleges like BIT Ranchi, GITAM Hyderabad may also be good options for you. Since you also have secured 30000 rank in WBJEE, which is decent, you can explore options, such as Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, or Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. These institutes offer branches such as CSE (Data …
