You can follow these simple steps to check the KCET first round seat allotment here:

1. Go to the official KEA website, keaonline.karnataka.gov.in.

2. From the ADMISSIONS drop-down, select UGCET - 2025.

3. Here, click on the UGCET Round 1 Seat Allotment Result link.

4. In a new window, the seat allotment portal will now open.

5. Enter your CET No. and finally, click on the 'Check' button.

KCET Round 1 Cutoff 2025

KEA has released the final KCET seat allotment for round 1 on August 2, 2025, which will also follow the KCET round 1 final cutoff for KCET 2025 participating colleges. The KCET cutoff is based on several factors, including the marks scored by the students, categories, and the number of seats available in a particular college. Based on the KCET 2024 cutoff trends, the accepting round 1 cutoff for top universities such as the University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering for popular streams such as Computer Science was 3649. Similarly, the cutoff at B M S College of Engineering for Electronics & Communication Engineering was 1873, and the Mechanical Engineering cutoff for R. V. College of Engineering was 3958. Choice Making After KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025

After the KCET round 1 seat allotment 2025 result, you will have four choices following the seat allotment, which include either confirming the seat allotment, moving to the next round of counselling, or quitting the counselling process altogether. You are required to read and understand all the available options carefully. If you fail to select any of the given choices before the deadline, your allotment will be deemed cancelled. CHOICE 1

You are satisfied with the seat allotment and are willing to report to the college. Therefore, you should not be considered for the further rounds of KCET seat allotment, and you will pay the prescribed fee by downloading the challan from the KCET website.

Not eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds

  • Select Choice 1 only if you are satisfied with the allotment.

  • Download/ print Challan from the KEA website.

  • Confirm the pre-printed details on the challan form, such as name, CET No., College/Course allotted, Bank details, etc.

  • Pay the prescribed fee.

  • After receipt of the payment, keep the candidate's copy recieved from the bank.

  • Download the Admission Order and print the same and affix your signature.

  • Report to the college along with the Original Documents on or before the last date.

Total fee as prescribed by the allotted college.

CHOICE 2

You are satisfied with the allotment, but wish to participate in subsequent rounds to get a better seat. Students appearing for engineering counselling need not pay for the seat allotment in the first round. If you wish to upgrade your UGCET seat to a UGNEET Medical seat, you will be required to pay the caution deposit amount (not applicable for Aayush/Dental courses..

Eligible for the next round of counselling by holding the seat allotted in the first round. If a new seat is allotted in further rounds, the already allotted seat stands cancelled. There will be no choice between earlier allotment and newer allotment.

  • If a higher order seat is allotted in the second round, the first allotment will automatically be cancelled.

  • If a higher order seat is not allotted, the first allotment seat will remain. (Higher order seat implies a seat with higher priority than the already allotted seat)

  • You can alter/delete/reorder/modify the higher-order options in the second round option entry portal. Wait for the second round option entry and seat allotment schedule.

Total fee as prescribed by the allotted college.

CHOICE 3

You are not satisfied with the allotted seat but wish to participate in the next round with already entered options, except for the allotted seat options, by surrendering the allotted seat and re-ordering of already entered options.

Eligible to participate in the second round by rejecting the allotted seat.

  • If you select CHOICE-3, you need not pay the first round allotment seat.

  • Already entered options, except the allotted option, will be shown for re-ordering. You can alter/modify/reorder/delete the already entered options as per your choice.

  • A caution deposit is not required to participate in Dental and AYUSH courses.

If you accept a seat following the KCET round 1 seat allotment 2025, you will be required to pay the tuition fee and seat acceptance fee to confirm your admission. Instructions for Candidates Not Allotted Seats in KCET Round 1 Allotment 2025

KCET seat allotment for round 1 has been released. However, if you have not received a seat in the round 1 counselling, you can still participate in the second round of counselling to secure a seat. KEA has shared some important guidelines for students who have not been allotted seats in the KCET round 1 seat allotment. You can check these important instructions here:

1. In round 2 counselling, you need not exercise any CHOICE entry ; already entered options will be available for re-ordering.

2. If you would like to participate with an un-allotted medical seat in the second round, then you have to pay the caution deposit. (KEA will release a schedule to pay the Caution Deposit separately).

3. If you are applying for Dental and AYUSH courses, you are not required to pay the Caution Deposit.
