ICAR UG Admission Through CUET: Results (Out), Counselling (Ongoing)

ICAR, or the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, offers 12 UG courses in the discipline of Agriculture and Allied Sciences. If you want to take admission to ICAR UG courses in the next academic session, then you should fill out the CUET UG application form before the deadline and fulfil the CUET UG eligibility criteria . Earlier, UG admissions to ICAR courses used to be done via the ICAR AIEEA exam, but since 2023, CUET ICAR UG 2025 has been merged into one exam, and ICAR AIEEA is only held for PG and PhD courses.

Students should pass Class 12th with 50% marks in the Science stream with Physics, Biology, Mathematics, and Agriculture as compulsory subjects to apply for ICAR UG admissions. CUET UG 2025 was conducted for the 2025-26 session. The exam was held from 13th May to 3rd June 2025, and the CUET UG 2025 Result was released on 4th July 2025. The ICAR UG Counselling 2025 registration will be held from September 2 to 8, 2025.

Students must note that admissions to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) are conducted through the CUET UG examination, but the counselling process is conducted by the ICAR examination authority itself. • Students should be Indian citizens.
• Students should have passed Class 10+2 with 50% marks in the Science stream from a recognised board. (45% required for SC/ST category students)
• Students should have passed Class 10+2 with subjects like Physics, Biology, Mathematics, and Agriculture.

ICAR UG Application Process

To apply for the ICAR UG course admissions, you must first fulfil the eligibility criteria for the CUET UG exam. Read the CUET UG 2025 registration process given in detail here:

• Click on the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in and click on “new registration”.
• Once the registration form opens up on your screen, you should fill out all the required information like your full name, father’s name, DOB, email address, contact number, etc.
• Once you have filled all the boxes, hit the “submit” button. Now, you will receive a confirmation OTP on your registered mobile number/email address.
• Use this OTP to apply for the CUET UG 2025 application form. Fill out the online form with your personal and educational details, etc.
• Upload the documents asked for and double-check everything before hitting the submit button one final time.
• Preview the application form and pay the CUET application fee. Once you have made the payment, save the form for future reference as proof.

ICAR UG (CUET) Counselling 2025

Admissions to ICAR UG courses is based on the CUET entrance examination. Follow the steps given below to apply for CUET ICAR UG 2025 registration process:

• To be eligible for CUET UG counselling , you must have participated in the CUET UG 2025 examination.
• Visit the official website of ICAR @ icarcounseling.com to register for the ICAR counselling process.
• Scroll down to the homepage and click on “Applicant Login” and log in with your details, such as Login ID and password.
• Click on “Register for Seat Allocation” and enter the necessary details, and hit the “Confirm and Submit” button.
• Then, you will be required to pay a counselling fee of INR 500/- at the time of filling out the registration form. You can use any payment method to pay the counselling fee.
• After filling out the counselling form, you will be able to participate in the choice filling process. Choose your preferred courses and colleges before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience at the last minute.
• The last step in the ICAR admission process through CUET will be to upload the necessary documents. The CUET document verification process will be conducted in online mode only. You need not report to the concerned university.
• Once your documents have been verified by the authorities, you will be required to pay a non-refundable admission fee or the seat acceptance fee of INR 10,000 at the official portal of ICAR.
• The final step in the ICAR admission process is to physically report to the allotted college with your original documents. After the physical verification, your admission will be confirmed.

ICAR UG CUET Cutoff 2025

Admissions to ICAR through CUET UG are possible only with 300-400 marks. The CUET 2025 cutoff will be announced shortly after the CUET UG 2025 result is announced in the last week of July 2025. Students should keep an eye out for the cutoff scores required for admission to ICAR.

ICAR UG Admissions are being conducted by the National Testing Agency through the CUET UG examination since 2023. Students must fulfil the eligibility criteria for CUET UG before applying for ICAR.
