The CMAT 2026 cutoff for MBA colleges in Madhya Pradesh will be released individually after the exam results are declared. CMAT is not responsible for the release of any cutoffs for any participating colleges.
NTA doesn't release the official CMAT cutoff 2026 list for MBA admissions in Madhya Pradesh. The cutoff marks are the minimum qualifying marks that candidates will be required to score to be considered for admission in various B-schools and institutes. Each college releases its CMAT cutoff and based on this candidates are shortlisted for further selection rounds. Candidates must score between 281 and 350 in CMAT 2026 to seek admission to top colleges.
Aspirants must be aware of the cutoffs so that they can plan their admissions and make informed choices about their MBA colleges. Candidates meeting the CMAT 2025 cutoff criteria will be shortlisted for the next rounds of the CMAT 2026 selection process which includes a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). A CMAT score in the range of 330-360 (approximately 99th percentile and above) is considered to be excellent for top-tier MBA programmes, while a score of 250-300 (around 90-95 percentile) is considered to be a good score for many well-known colleges, and a score around 200 (around 65-70 percentile) is considered average.
MBA colleges accepting the CMAT scores in the 80-90 percentile range provide opportunities for the candidates with strong academic potential to secure admissions to reputable institutions. Some top colleges accepting the CMAT scores in this percentile range include FLAME University Pune, IMT Nagpur, ISBM Pune, amongst others.
CMAT cut off will be released after the declaration of CMAT results. National Testing Authority (NTA), the conducting body of the exam, doesn't release the official CMAT cut off list. Each participating institute is responsible for releasing the CMAT cut off to selection candidates for MBA admission. Those who clear the CMAT cut off are further invited for the selection rounds such as WAT, PI, and GD.
Yes, a separate CMAT cut off is released for the different MBA courses or specializations offered by the college. The cut off for each is usually different but it can be the same, depending on the conditions. However, each participating college generally has a different CMAT cutoff for the selection of candidates for MBA admission.
The factors affecting the CMAT cut off are as follows:
The difficulty level of the CMAT exam.
The number of candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam.
The total number of candidates who have passed the entrance exam.
The total number of seats available in various management programs of the participating institutes.
Reservation: The prescribed reservations are 15%, 7.5%, 27%, 5% & 50.5% for SC, ST, OBC(NC), PwD & General category respectively.
CMAT cut off is released by individual colleges and compiled by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh for MBA admissions based on CMAT Common Merit. National Testing Authority, the conducting body of the exam, doesn't release any official CMAR cut off list for MBA admission.
